Joan DOHERTY (née Gillen)
May 31st 2017 peacefully at Cregagh Nursing Home, Belfast. Formerly of 50 Station Road, Portstewart. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Doherty, loving mother to Dominic, Teresa, Sarah and Paul.
We softened up your pillows and tried to ease the pain,
we prayed to God in Heaven to make you well again,
then we heard God's whisper, "I'll take you in My care,
for in this world of suffering, she's really had her share".
Waked at Wade's Chapel of Rest, 3 Upper Abbey Street, Coleraine. Leaving there at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass on Saturday June 3rd in Star of the Sea Church, Portstewart, followed by burial in Agherton Cemetery, Portstewart.
