The Family of the late Joan Shannon, Tamlaghtmore, Stewartstown would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement on their loss of a beloved Mum, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. They have been comforted and sustained by the thoughts and prayers of many relatives, friends and neighbours.

Special thanks to those who sent cards, visited Irene and Declan’s home, telephoned, sent messages, letters and gifts. We took great comfort from the support of everyone who lined the funeral cortege route as Mum made her final journey and from those who joined us at Brigh Presbyterian Church for the lovely service of thanksgiving for her life. Special thanks to Rev Alan Dickey for his pastoral care, spiritual support and lovely service of thanksgiving for Mum’s life, to Mrs Susan Stewart for playing the organ, Mr Johnston Bell for recording the service and also Rev Hugh Mullan for his support during Mum's periods of illness.

Our sincere gratitude to Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Stewartstown Health Centre, District Nursing Team for all their care and attention especially in these last few years of her failing health. We are indebted to the Stewartstown Team of Trust Carers for their devoted care and attention over the past 4 years, without all their help and support it would not have been possible to have our darling Mum with us at her Daughter's residence.

A special word of thanks to Helen and Staff of D Watters Funeral Services for the efficient, sympathetic and discrete way they carried out all the arrangements for us.

Please accept our thanks to those who have kindly donated money in lieu of flowers for the equipment fund in Stewartstown Health Centre in Mum's memory. It has been greatly appreciated.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
