I want to express my deep sorrow at Kay's passing.
She was a lovely person who always had a quick smile and laughed easily.
Although I only met Kay a few times in my life she made me long to know my distant family in Northern Ireland better.
When Kay moved to the USA she spent a great deal of time with my beloved Aunty Mena and I will be forever grateful for the care and love that she gave her.
Kay will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am so profoundly sorry to hear of the passing of Kay and wish to offer my sincere sympathy to Lawrence, Antoin, Sean, Padraig, Monica, John, Brian and Pat and Kay's extended family.

I have such lovely memories of Kay from school and university. Kay was in our year at school. She was our Head girl. Kay was universally liked and respected by teachers and pupils alike. I recall her big smile and calm personality. She saw the best in everyone and got the best from everyone. She was a great camogie player, a passionate supporter of County Down and quite simply, a joy to be around.

The fact that I have such a clear picture in my head of Kay, after all these years speaks for itself. She was so close to and proud of her family that I have never forgotten their names. I can remember when Lawrence appeared on the scene and we rejoiced in the great friendship they shared.

I have no doubt Kay will be now quietly help you all through the difficult days ahead.

I recall the unexpected shared joy upon meeting Kay some years ago as she proudly marched with the County Down section of the New York Saint Patrick's Day Parade. We laughed heartily. That was the last time I saw her.

Kay, a Sacred Heart girl passed away in the month of The Sacred Heart and I imagine into his warm embrace.
