Kathryn SPILLANE (née Jennings, formerly McMullan)

Kathryn dedicated 19 years of her life to Ballyhenry Primary School and it seems like she only just retired. Her presence will be deeply missed, as she leaves behind a lasting impact on both our school and the community.
Kathryn will always be remembered for her kind and gentle nature. She had a genuine warmth that endeared her to both colleagues and pupils alike. Her infectious laughter would fill the hallways, brightening the days of those around her. She fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie, always willing to lend a helping hand and provide guidance to her colleagues. Her unwavering commitment to our shared purpose created a supportive environment for all.
Kathryn consistently went above and beyond in her role. Her dedication to the pupils knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into ensuring that their educational experience was enriched. She possessed an innate ability to connect with children and make them feel valued and supported, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
Kathryn will forever hold a place in our hearts, as her legacy lives on through the lives she touched. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May they find solace in the knowledge that Kathryn's memory will forever be cherished within the Ballyhenry Primary School Community.
