Kenneth Andrew LOCKHART

The family of the late Kenneth Andrew Lockhart wish to express their heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on his recent passing. He was a much loved husband, dad, father-in-law, granda, brother and brother-in-law.

The family very much appreciate all who visited the home, attended the Service of Thanksgiving, provided food, sent messages, cards, texts, phone calls and made donations in lieu of flowers for Aughnacloy Free Presbyterian Church (Sunday School Fund) and Friends of the Cancer Centre (City Hospital, Belfast). Also special mention to those who assisted practically on the farm, and at the home, throughout the wake and funeral.

They are particularly grateful for the medical support Kenneth received throughout his illness and sincerely wish to thank Aughnacloy Medical Centre, McKeevers Chemist Aughnacloy, Southern Trust District Nursing team, Belfast City Hospital Cancer Centre, Craigavon Area Hospital and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. Special thanks to his Oncology and Surgical team for their medical expertise throughout.

During Kenneth’s long illness the family were most grateful to all those who supported him and the family circle both prayerfully and practically with many family, friends and neighbours going the extra mile to help. Also, to Rev Simon Anderson (Aughnacloy Free Presbyterian Church) for his attentiveness in visiting Kenneth and his pastoral care.

Special thanks to Rev Anderson for conducting the funeral service and to Rev Peter McIntyre (Clogher Valley Free Presbyterian) for ministering in the home. Also, to all the local ministers and pastors connected to the wider family who prayed in the home. Thank you to the organist, pianist, sound technicians and to The Diamond Tea Rooms, Aughnacloy for the tea after the service, and to those who parked cars and assisted with seating arrangements

Sincere thanks to the undertakers, Fred Martin and Sons for their professional, caring and supportive manner, at the time, and in the weeks following the funeral.

The family home will never be the same again. Kenneth is so sadly missed but is now in his Heavenly home with his Lord and Saviour, Safe in the arms of Jesus. His earthly ministry has ended, but the family continue to pray that in death his testimony will live on.

Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation.
