24th March 1950 - 24th January 2025

We the family of the late Kevin McElhatton RIP, wish to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bradley and staff of the Three Spires Surgery, Omagh, to Carrickmore/Beragh District Nurses, Palliative Care team, Marie Curie Nurses, WHST Homecare Department, Care Plus and Angel Watch who provided outstanding care with kindness, respect and dignity throughout Kevin’s illness. Also, to Damien and staff at Omagh Group Pharmacy for your unfailing support.

We are hugely indebted to our neighbours, friends and family who helped throughout the wake, to all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards, messages and expressed their condolences in any way.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Peter McAnenly P.P. for his spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Kevin’s beautiful Requiem Mass.

A special word of thanks to the Sacristan, Altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, to Eamonn Donnelly and Jackie Fox for providing the beautiful music and singing which made Kevin’s Funeral Mass so special.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Undertaker, John Donaghy for the sensitive, professional and dignified manner in which he carried out the wake and funeral arrangements and to the grave digger, Ciaran Conroy for preparing Kevin’s final resting place with great care. Thanks also to Anthony McCullagh for playing the lovely accordion music at Kevin’s graveside.

Thanks to the staff of Farley’s Bar and Restaurant for the refreshments provided after the funeral and to the Loughmacrory Community Development Association for the use of their facilities. Also, to Hughes Eurospar, Jackies Nisa and The Hut Pizzeria for the pizza and refreshments which were much appreciated.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a heartfelt and sincere expression of our gratitude and appreciation.

Kevin’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Loughmacrory on Tuesday 18th February at 7.30pm.

St. Padre Pio pray for him.

The McElhatton family.
