Lily VANCE

The family of the late Lily Vance would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with them on the loss of their mother. We are grateful to all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, telephoned or called at our homes. In particular we want to say a special word of thanks to all those friends, family and church members who, for many years, regularly called with our mother both at Duffless and Drapersfield – these visits were deeply appreciated by her.

We especially want to thank Rev Tom Greer for his advice and pastoral care, and also for his words of comfort during the funeral service. Additionally, to all those from Molesworth who gave of their time to help with the service, we sincerely appreciate your support.

During our mother’s time in Drapersfield Nursing Home she was looked after with compassion, kindness and thoughtfulness by the staff, and we are indebted to all for providing a high level of care at such a difficult time Thank you also to the staff of Mid Ulster Health Care Cookstown for the medical attention provided to our mother over the years

We would like to express our appreciation to everyone who donated so generously over the last few weeks – these gifts will be forwarded to Prison Fellowship NI and Drapersfield Nursing Home.

Finally, we are indebted to Bryan and Carole Steenson for the caring and professional way in which they conducted both the wake and funeral. We really appreciated the kind and sensitive manner with which they organised the details of the funeral, and the support which they showed to us during our bereavement.

We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
