M. McCreesh & Sons is a family run business based in Dromintee, Co. Armagh. The service has been in operation since the early 1930s and was originally started by Michael McCreesh in Forkhill, who ran the local hardware store at the time selling coal and meal. Micheal passed the business to his son Sean in the early 1960s. Sean continued to carry on the tradition of giving helpful and respectful advice, while catering for families’ unique needs during times of bereavement. When Sean retired he passed the business on to his nephew and name-sake, Sean, who currently owns and runs The Three Steps Bar. Now a third generation undertaker, Sean along with his son, Michael, have built a funeral home next door to the pub in Dromintee. Sean and Michael continue this service and tradition in the same manner their grandfather had, giving professional guidance through difficult times.
