MARGARET JEAN ELIZABETH POOTS (née KIRK)
The daughters and family circle of the late Jean Poots wish to express their most sincere thanks to all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them during the recent sad loss of Jean who was a devoted wife to the late Bertie and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and twin sister of David.
The family greatly appreciated all those who telephoned, sent cards, letters or messages of sympathy via social media: they were a great comfort. We also wish to thank all those who called at the house, brought gifts or made donations to Dementia NI in memory of Jean.
The family also wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Ramone 1, Craigavon Area Hospital for their care and attention in Jean's final weeks, the local District Nursing Team for their care and the staff of the Memory Team, Edenderry House, Portadown for their help and advice.
We wish to offer a very special thanks to Rachel, Alison and Kate for all the support and love they showed to Jean and the entire family during Jean's illness.
Thanks to Roland Pickering for all his visits and for conducting the funeral service along with John Graham and to the Brethren at Mullafernaghan Gospel Hall for their prayerful support and pastoral care over the years.
Sincere thanks to Brian Poots & Sons Funeral Services for the professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Also thanks to the staff at the Halfway House who provided a lovely tea after the funeral.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
