We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Margaret Leonard née King, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family on 26th April 2024.

Late of 17 Elaghmore Park and formerly of 15 Bloomfield Park. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of Tony. Devoted mother of Sean, Ciaran and Tony. A much loved mother-in-law of Leanne, Joanna and Meghan. Loving granny of Kayla, Fayé, Faye, Kaden, Ava, Fínn, Alex and Lúca. Precious daughter of the late Seamus and Barlo. Dearest sister of Eileen, Donna, Tina, James, Jackie, Caroline, Rhonda, Darren, Gareth, Tanya and the late James. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Margaret’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 17 Elaghmore Park from 11am tomorrow morning, Saturday 27th April. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 29th April at 11:50am for 12:30pm Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Wake house will be private from 11pm until 11am.
