The family of the late Mary Lynn would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us following our recent sad bereavement, those who messaged us, sent cards, called with us or attended her funeral.
A special thanks to Fr Whiteford for attending our mother during her final years and in honouring her specific wishes regarding her funeral and for the beautiful funeral mass. Thank you to Aoife and Marie for their comforting music.
Before becoming ill our mother made very specific arrangements for her funeral and so we are grateful to Andrew McAlister for ensuring that these were honoured so sensitively and with great dignity. Thank you to Café Cova for providing refreshments afterwards.
Thanks especially to the staff of The Glens Medical Centre and The Glens Residential Home for their exemplary care and kindness during Mum's illness especially in her final weeks.
Finally, to the local community, we are forever grateful for your vigilance and compassion shown to Mum to keep her safe during the very early stages of her decline. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude.
