Michael and Eamonn, sons of the late Michael (Mickey) McLaughlin wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. A heartfelt thanks to all the kind relatives, neighbours and friends who attended the wake and funeral and who sent messages of sympathy and to all those who helped out during the wake, this was a great comfort at a difficult time. A special word of thanks to Birdie and Bernadette Phillips for their support to our family throughout the years and to Brian McGowan the Eucharistic minister.
Thank you to Dr. McNeill and the GPs, clerical staff and district nurses at Cityview Medical and to the staff at Murphy's chemist, for their support to Mickey throughout the years. Thankyou to the Home from Hospital scheme who provided compassionate care to Mickey.
A very special thanks to all the caring staff from the Western Trust, Bryson Care West, North West Care, Strabane District Caring and Glen Caring for providing dedicated daily care, comfort and support to Mickey over a long period, your care was a great support.
Thanks to the staff at Foyleville and Seven Oaks day centres and to Gwen Devine, Social Worker and the social workers who provided support to Mickey. Thanks also to the staff and patrons of Moran's Bar for their support to Mickey.
A special word of thanks to Father Canny for celebrating the beautiful funeral mass and Erin Carlin and Isobel Caldwell for the beautiful singing and music.
A very special thanks to Kieran Connor, McClafferty Funeral Directors for their professionalism and special touches for Mickey's funeral.

Michael's month's mind will be celebrated on Thursday 15th February at 7.30pm in St Columb's Church, Chapel Road, Derry. All are welcome
