PORTER, 29TH AUGUST 2021, SUSAN (SUE), suddenly, dearly beloved daughter of the late Gordon and Jane Porter, sister of the late Harry and Noreen, sister-in-law of the late Billy Harvey and much loved aunt of Girvan and the late Jane. Funeral from her home Ballygowan Road Saintfield on Friday 3rd September at 11.15am (service in home 11.00am) to Saintfield Parish Churchyard for burial. Social distancing guidelines to be observed.

Very deeply regretted and will be lovingly remembered by her sorrowing nephew and friends.

My deepest sympathies to Sue’s family. I had the privilege of being her Inspector in Armagh in the mid 80’s. What a responsible individual to have in your section - always positive and always wanting to do her best for the community in Armagh. But … could I stop her doing VCP’s on the Newry Road … no chance. I asked her why and she said she loved her time in Newry and would love to go back.
A compassionate officer and one who loved her job. She served ALL without fear or favour. I certainly haven’t forgotten your contribution - it has been my privilege to have known and worked with you.

We were so shocked and sadden to hear of Sue's passing. She was so full of life, always smiling, kind to everyone and adored all animals and loved and cherished her family.
The world will be a sadder place without her. Deepest sympathies to her nephew Girvan and family circle.
We cannot bring the old times back, when we were all together,
