Teresa McDermott (née Monaghan) 10 Cashel Road, Greencastle, Tyrone

We, the family of the late Teresa McDermott RIP would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

We extend thanks to Fr Devine, FrScriven and Fr McCawille for the thoughtful celebration of the Requiem Mass. Thank you to all who participated in the Mass including Jacqueline and Eamon for the beautiful music and signing, the Eucharistic minister, as well as grandchildren who helped make the Funeral Mass so special for us.

Our family would like to thank everyone who helped care for our Mother especiallythose carers who supported her at home, showing such dignity and respect. A special mention to medical professionals at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry for their care and compassion to mummy and to us as a family. Also to the District nurses team and the dedicated team from Gortin Medical Practice for all their support.

To all who attended the wake and funeral, and friends many of which travelled long distances to pay their final respects, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers and expressed their condolences via telephone and social media, we are very grateful. Thank you to our wonderful neighbours and friends who looked after the parking during Mummy's wake and to our dear family and friends who worked tirelessly with tea, sandwiches and to those who brought food and refreshments.

Thanks to Phillip Morris, Undertaker, for his professional and dignified manner in which he carried out his duties and thanks also to the gravediggers for preparing Mummy’s final resting place. Our thanks to the management and staff of The Mill Wheel, Kildress for providing the refreshments afterwards.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we sincerely hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.

Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church, Greencastle, Co. Tyrone on Friday, 22 March 2024 at 7:30pm.
