Tom ALLEN

Tom’s wife Hilary, children Mark and wife Emma, Lesley and partner Steve, and grandkids Billy, Max, Leo and Lucy would like to thank you for the love and kindness shown to us at this most difficult time. We are especially grateful to those who helped and comforted Tom at the scene; a special thanks to the ambulance and Air Ambulance crews who attended.

We appreciate the ongoing care and support from our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. We could not have gotten through this without you. We are overwhelmed and humbled by the number of people who took time and effort to:leave messages online, telephone, send sympathy cards, flowers or gifts, provide food, visit our homes and generously donated to the Air Ambulance and Lecumpher Church in Tom’s memory.

We are extremely thankful to those who attended the wake and funeral. Our sincere thanks to Rev. John Martin and Rev. Jonathan Currie for the moving funeral service. We are very grateful to John and Moira Barfoot for the music and Scott McKeown for singing. It was a comforting and fitting tribute to Tom. We appreciated the warm hospitality of the Lecumpher congregation who served the funeral tea. A special thanks to June Lawrence for arranging.

Our heartfelt thanks to Helen and the staff at D. Watters Funeral Services for their kind, compassionate and diligent care, helping and guiding us in every way possible.

As we cannot thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a reflection of our sincere gratitude.
