William James HARKNESS

The Wife and Family of the late William James Harkness would like to thank sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.

We wish to thank all who sent cards and letters, telephoned, called at the home or attended the wake or funeral and to all those who gave so generously to Claggan Church funds in lieu of flowers. We appreciated all who helped around the home and farm as well as the practical and prayerful support of everyone, including many members of Claggan congregation. We also want to thank the organist, Mae Crooks and sound desk operator David Weir. We particularly want to thank Rev. Michael Currie for conducting the very meaningful funeral service and for his pastoral visits to Antrim Area Hospital and to the home, bringing sincere words of kindness and comfort during our time of loss. Thanks too for the use of Claggan Church Hall for the funeral tea and for the assistance of caterer, Edith Blair.

Thanks also to the Medical and Care Staff of Antrim Area Hospital particularly Wards B1 and B3 during William's final days in hospital and to Medical Staff in Mid Ulster Health Care and Boots Pharmacy for their support over the years.

We greatly appreciate the professional advice and service provided by Helen and Family at D. Watters Funeral Services, who took care of every detail in such a dignified and caring manner.

Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation to all who assisted in any way in our time of loss.
