The Wife Maree, Daughters Carrie and Kathy, Son Steven and family of the late William Jordan would sincerely like to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement.

Heartfelt thanks to all who sent cards and messages, telephoned, called to the home, sent food and gifts, attended the wake and funeral and gave so generously to Tinylife in lieu of flowers in William’s memory.

We appreciated all who helped in the home as well as the practical and prayerful support of everyone.

We want to thank the organist Lynn Fullerton, Ryan Sinclair and Richard Bamford for providing such moving music during the service.

We particularly would like to thank the Rural Dean Rev Diane Matchett for her pastoral visits to Antrim Area Hospital and to the family home, as well as leading a very meaningful service of thanksgiving; bringing sincere words of kindness, comfort and support during our time of loss. Thanks too for the use of St. Swithin’s Parish Church hall for the funeral tea and for the assistance of the caterer, Edith Blair. To the piper Robert Blair, the caretaker and the gravedigger, we are grateful.

Thank you also to the players, both past and present, of Magherafelt Reds, Cookstown United and Killymoon Rangers Football Clubs for providing lifts and a Guard of Honour as a tribute to William.

Thanks also to the Medical and Care Staff of Antrim Area Hospital, particularly in CCU and Ward B3, especially during William’s final days in hospital, when their kindness to him and the family meant so much.

A sincere thanks to Helen and Staff at D. Watters Funeral Services who took care of every detail in such a dignified, caring and professional manner and for their constant support to the family.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope you will please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s sincere thanks and appreciation to all who assisted in any way in our time of loss.
