God Blessed me with an angel I'm proud to call my own.
She's been with me throughout my life and watched me as I've grown.

Last night as I lay sleeping an angel came to me,
I opened my eyes and stared at her, wondering who she could be.
I looked a little closer and I saw a familiar face,
she was my Granny Pearl saying she'd found her perfect place.
She told me she was happy and asked me not to cry.
She said her pain was over, so I said my last goodbye.
