I had a special Uncle, William was his name,
now all I have are memories and his photo in a frame.
He had a sense of humour, many called him friend,
he was welcomed everywhere he went and on him you could depend.

he held your hand and whispered low, come with me William, it's time to go.
The gates of Heaven opened wide the angels lined up side-by-side
for a special guest was on his way the day they called my brother away.
