Nanny, though your smile is gone forever, and your hand we cannot touch.
We still have so many memories of the one we loved so much.
Your memory is now our keepsake, with which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.
Rest now Nanny, we love you lots.
Monday 04 May 2020 From granddaughters Jody and Zoe xx

God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be.
So he wrapped his arms around you and whispered "Come to me".
You didn’t deserve what you went through, so at last he gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best.
Although you're gone, I'm not alone and never shall I be.
For the precious memories of the bond we shared will never depart from me.
Our love surpassed the ups and downs and helped us along the way.
And that same love will give me strength to manage this loss each day.
On my mind and in my heart, Mum, you shall forever be.
For just as much as I am a part of you, you are a part of me.
Love you always and forever Mummy. Monday 04 May 2020 From daughter Joanne and son-in-law Jim xx

The day she left we watched her suffer day by day, it caused us bitter grief.
To see her slowly pine away and could not give relief.
Her weary hours and days of pain, her troubled nights are past.
And in our aching hearts, we know she has found sweet rest at last.
'Tis sweet to know we will meet again, where parting is no more.
And my dear wife I loved so well, has only gone before.
God knows how much I miss her. He counts the tears I shed.
And whispers "hush, she only sleeps, your wife is not dead".
Some day, some time my years shall see, the face I loved so well.
Some day, some time her hand I'll clasp and never say farewell.
Doe, I love you bird and always will. Monday 04 May 2020 Your devoted husband Henry xx

God looked around his garden and found an empty place,
He then looked down on Earth and saw your precious face,
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest,
because in God's gracious garden he only takes the best. Monday 04 May 2020 Good night nanny, love Lyndsay, Paul and kids. xxx

He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone,
for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. Monday 04 May 2020 Slight tight nanny, love Sharon, Colin and kids. xxx

Until we meet again mummy,
those special memories of you will always bring a smile,
if only I could have you back, for just a little while,
then we could sit and talk again, just like we used to do,
you always meant so very much and always will do too.
The fact that you're no longer here will always cause me pain,
but your forever in my heart, until we meet again. Monday 04 May 2020 Slight tight mummy, your loving daughter Sharon and son-in-law Mark. xxxx

I've left this little card, Nanny, just so you will know
I love you and I miss you more than you could know.
You were so very caring, so loving and so kind
and everywhere you went there was a rainbow there to find.
You played a big part in my life and even though you're gone,
the respect and love I have for you will just go on and on. Monday 04 May 2020 Love you always, Nanny, grandson Jordan, partner Samantha and great-granddaughter Thea xx

God looked around His Garden and found an empty space,

If roses grow in heaven, Lord, please pick a bunch for me,
place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love her and miss her and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day
but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away. Monday 04 May 2020 Love you always Mummy, daughter Tracy and partner Dean xx
