Loving husband of Eileen (nee Corey).
Devoted father of Edel (Macklin), Shauna (Gardiner), Maria (Prunty) and Laura (Jones) also father in-law of Robert, George, Ciaran and Brian.
Cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Charlie, Rohan, James, Ellen and Cassie.
Dear brother of Sr. Ita, Veronica (Archer), Monica (Guthrie), Philomena (Monteith), Teresa (O’Brien), Pat, John, Oliver and the late Michael (R.I.P).
Oh Most Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in you.
Desmond’s funeral will take place on Thursday September 24th at 11.00am in Church of St. Joseph’s Killeenan, burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife, daughters, sons in-law, grandchildren, sisters brothers, sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and his wider family circle.
On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.
Due to government guidelines (re: Coronavirus) the wake and funeral will be private to family and close friends.
