GALBRAITH, Gary Thomas June 6th 2024, suddenly at home, Loving husband and soulmate of Heather, devoted son of Ethel and the late Joe, much loved brother of Alyson, brother-in-law of Joe, son-in-law of Billy and Molly and adored uncle of Daniel and Cameron.

A graveside service will be held in Roselawn Cemetery on Friday 14th June at 11.00 a.m., followed by a Service of Celebration for his life in Bloomfield Presbyterian Church at 12.00 noon.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired paid directly to Marie Curie Cancer Care, 60 Knock Road, Belfast, BT5 6LQ or online at www.mariecurie.org.uk/donate

Always loved and remembered by all the family circle. No farewells were spoken, no time to say good-bye, you were gone before we knew, and only God knows why.

I knew Gazza as a knowledgeable and passionate Rolling Stones fan from IORR. There he had not only demonstrated knowledge and wit, but his way of writing articles made me enjoy reading (and learning) English. I met Gary in person for the first time in 2005 before the Ronnie Wood concert at the Drury Lane Theater in London. We had a few beers and he said: "I would be surprised if none of the Stones came on stage!" He was such a gentleman, he didn't say anything more. After the show, where MICK JAGGER appeared, I said: "You didn't know anything?" He: "Of course I heard a rumour!" But he kept quiet. What a great guy. I went: "You Irish b...!"
