Died peacefully in hospital on 27 February. Late of Dunsererick Avenue, Belfast.

Ian, beloved husband of Jean and cherished father of Michael. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

A service of praise and thanksgiving will be held in Belvoir Methodist Church, on Wednesday 9th March at 2pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Belvoir Methodist Church c/o Rev John Alderdice, 12 Ardenlee Avenue, Belfast, BT6 0AA for joint benefit of Belvoir Methodist Church and the IRFU Charitable Trust.

Ian is remembered with great love by his family in Canada, especially by his sister Joyce (Beggs)
McGookin, his nieces Elizabeth Price and Margaret McGookin (Fred Sonnenberg) and all his grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Many of us were privileged to have shared happy times with Ian, both in Canada and Ireland. We will always honour his open heart and quiet humour.
