So very sorry to hear the sad news about Billy.
We grew up together as children in our extended family; our parents were all such close friends.
It's been years, but I still have so many wonderful and richly colorful childhood memories of our visits with Billy and Uncle Lyle and Auntie Molly!
Sending so much love and care to all of the extended family and friends during this difficult time. xoxo

Mr Rea - what a legend- he was my primary school teacher at Kilmaine Primary School and as a young person encouraged me ( and others) to get involved in musical theatre. We had such a wonderful time. He directed us through many plays such as The Boyfriend and pantos like Dick Whittington and later on at The Bangor Operatic society we played alongside him in George M and Sleeping Beauty. He was such fun; always a twinkle in his eye and a warm smile. Now a teacher myself, I know how important it is to have people like Billy rooting for you. I haven’t seen him in years and years but I will never forget him. Thanks Mr Rea for being such an inspiration.

Mr Rea,
Thank you for being an amazing teacher and director in the school production of Oklahoma! You're the reason I now love musicals!

It is with deep sadness that we at BM Motors acknowledge the passing of our esteemed and long-standing customer, Billy.
For over 21 years, Billy entrusted us with his business, and throughout that time, we came to know him not only as a valued customer but as a true gentleman. His loyalty, kindness, and warm character left a lasting impression on all of us, and his presence will be sincerely missed by the entire team.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his partner, Basil, his family, and all who mourn his loss. Our thoughts are with you during this time of grief.
May he rest in peace.

It is with the greatest sadness that we have heard of Billy’s sad death. A light has gone out, a light of love, affection, laughter, mischief, honesty and integrity. It was so sad and cruel to learn that his illness had returned so severely - dreadful news. However, reflecting on Billy himself - he was life itself and brought so much laughter to many. His mischievous teasing will not be forgotten as a hallmark of his laughter. I can still hear him with “Ah go on”. With Basil they were a strong super durable team and partnership that lasted the decades and from which many people can learn. They gave so much to so many as a team. Steadfast and loyal they were to each and to friends and so it has always been a privilege and honour to know them both over the decades and so sad it is now to miss Billy. May peace and rest come to you and particularly to you, Basil - you are not alone, many walk with you, even across the miles.
