One quiet morning the Angels came and took our Granda far away, but in the quietness of the night, we could hear our Granda say, my grandchilder, oh how I'll miss you, you mean so much to me, but Jesus called me to His side and in Heaven I now shall be. A place of God's great beauty, no tears or earthly cares, only peace and joy forever and love beyond compare. So remember all the good times, I don't want you to be sad, treasure special moments and memories we had. And if you trust in Jesus, I promise you this and more, you'll get a kiss and hug from Granda, when we meet on Heaven's golden shore. Granda, when I think of you, I always remember how safe I felt with you. How proud I was to be your grandson. Whether it was collecting dulse in Millisle, or watching John Wayne movies, or walking down the road you loved and where you were loved so much, your beloved Shankill Road. We couldn't walk 3 steps without somebody shaking your hand and giving me money. I loved and respected you with all my heart. You were, and always will be, the safe keeper of our family.
