Goodbye to the formidable tour de force that was my grandmother, the one and only Margaret Bothwell. She was a woman who possessed and imbued great inspiration to all of her family and those who had the good fortune to know her. Forthright in her opinions, well read on worldly matters and putting herself before others, "Maggie" (as I affectionately referred to her as the normal "Gran" did not do her due justice) was a constant in my life whom I reverred from a young age into adulthood.
I am privileged to have been her first grandchild and extremely lucky to have had the love, guidance and wisdom from a special lady for longer than most grandchildren ever do.
She will be missed greatly, but her memory will live on and she is and will continue to be fondly remembered by me those who knew her.
Goodbye Maggie, my brilliant grandmother.
